The Bay Bridge is the Bay Area's workhorse bridge. Day or night, you can hear the hum and clatter of traffic. From the side of the bridge, cameras point at the roadway, relaying traffic information to websites and news channels. 

For this video, we pointed our camera at a quieter part of the bridge. Shot from the eastern shore of the bay, the din of traffic fades into the background, mostly replaced by the sound of small waves lapping the shore. Although separated by only a few hundred feet, the bridge deck and the shoreline below seem worlds apart.
