After shelter-in-place orders reduced traffic to a fraction of its normal volume, Caltrans jumped into action and accelerated the 101 Alemany Project. With help from the contractor, Myers and Sons, the eighteen working-day contract was condensed into nine days of around-the-clock construction. With time-lapse photography, we've condensed it even further – down to just over two minutes.
