Big Basin Way in Saratoga

Starts Monday, July 8, 2018

SARATOGA – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform secondary reduction of slide material to mitigate hazards associated with large boulders near the travel way on SR-9 at Big Basin Way, in the city of Saratoga, Santa Clara County. Periodically, crews will shut down both northbound and southbound lanes for safety clearance as needed to safely perform rock mitigation. Work is scheduled to begin the week of July 8 and be complete July 16.

Schedule of work and lane closures:

Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

During this work, motorist may experience increased traffic delays as crews perform prevention work. Lane closure signs will be posted. California Highway Patrol will be onsite during lane closure. All work is weather permitting.
