Bodega Bay – Caltrans will continue highway improvements of State Route -1(SR-1) in Bodega Bay, Sonoma County with overnight work beginning Thursday, June 27 through Saturday, June 29. Overnight work will include K-rail installation, clearing brush off the northbound SR-1 shoulder, vegetation removal, and sidewall preparation for future project work. Flaggers will be on site and one lane will remain open for traffic throughout the night.
Overnight Work Schedule:
• Thursday (06/27) 7 PM to Friday (06/28) 7 AM - Clear brush on the northbound SR-1 shoulder under one-way traffic control.
• Friday (06/28) 7 PM to Saturday (06/29) 7 AM - Complete clearing of brush if not completed during the Thursday shift.
Changeable message signs and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute. Residents will experience normal construction noise, which will be monitored.
