(SOLANO COUNTY) The State Route 84 (SR-84) Real McCoy Ferry II is scheduled to be out of service starting Monday, February,  7, 2022 at 12:01 AM until  late March 2022 for required engine upgrades needed for the boat to meet updated air emissions requirements.

The Real McCoy II cannot operate until the the boat is dry-docked, engine upgrades performed and an inspection is complete.

Caltrans will provide more detailed dates and times for the Real McCoy’s return to service as soon as information is available.

The Delta’s companion ferry, the SR-220 J-Mack Ferry can be used for crossings, while the Real McCoy II Ferry is out of service. The J-Mack Ferry is on demand 24 hours per day. The State Route 84 Miners Slough Bridge can also be used to access Ryer island.

Caltrans regrets any inconvenience for motorists and residents who use the ferry to access Ryer Island.
