Reminder & Update: Daytime Two-Lane Closure on State Route 29 from Sequoia Ave. to Mini Drive (Solano/Napa County Line) in Vallejo, Solano County

Published:

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday from 9 a.m. - 7p.m

Solano County — Caltrans continues to pave State Route 29 (Sonoma Boulevard) a 6-mile stretch from Cal Poly Maritime Academy to Solano/Napa County Line.

Lane closures are necessary to complete major pavement work and ensure the safety of both crews and the traveling public. Two lanes will be closed, with one lane remaining open for traffic at all times.

In active paving areas, some crossings may be temporarily closed while the pavement cures. These closures typically last a few hours and will be removed once the pavement reaches the required temperature.

Motorists may need to use alternate routes and travel several blocks around closures, so please plan ahead. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

When grinding and paving is occurring adjacent to the sidewalk alleys and parking zones will be closed on a rolling basis. Motorists are advised to avoid the area or use alternate routes in the areas with closed alleys.

Schedule:

  • Daily Oct. 26 to Nov. 6.
  • Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday - from 9 a.m. -7p.m

Paving is expected to be complete by November 9.

What to expect?

Pedestrians should be aware of detours due to closed off areas. If pedestrians need to cross while work is happening, please make a worker aware, and they will assist you in getting across the street.

**Work will generate noise and vibrations during active work hours**

**All work is weather dependent and subject to change**
