Detour map for the closure of northbound SR-82 (El Camino Real) between Florbunda Ave and Carmelita Ave. Motorists traveling northbound on SR-82 should: turn right onto Florbunda Avenue; turn left onto Ansel Road; turn right onto Oak Grave Avenue; turn left onto California Drive; turn left onto Carmelita Avenue; turn right onto SR-82.

Motorists should plan to follow the authorized, posted detours. because many side streets adjacent to El Camino Real are too narrow to accommodate large traffic volumes and can quickly become gridlocked and dangerous.

  • Left turns are permitted on Broadway Avenue

The $173M El Camino Real roadway rehabilitation project will maintain El Camino Real as a safe, accessible, and reliable transportation corridor.
