Contra Costa County and Marin County — Caltrans maintenance crews will carry out overnight deck maintenance on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge (I-580), implementing the closure of Lane #2 on the westbound upper deck Saturday, September 12, 2026, 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., the following morning. The closure extends from the Toll Plaza to the Marin County line; but westbound Lane #1 and the bike path will remain accessible.
Caltrans appreciate the public’s patience as we work to ensure the integrity of the roadway.
