Ramp, Lane Closures Scheduled Nightly on US-101 for Capital Preventive Maintenance Project in Marin County

US 101 Capital Preventative Maintenance Project in Marin County Project Map, from the Wornum Creek Undercrossing to the Miller Creek Bridge.

Marin County — Caltrans is scheduled to continue its Capital Preventive Maintenance project along US-101 in August.

Various lanes will be closed on US-101 from Tuesday, Aug. 25 through the morning of Saturday, Aug. 29 from Bellam Boulevard to Miller Creek from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. the next mornings.

The off-ramp to industrial Way and the on-ramp to Industrial Way are scheduled to be closed during that time period.

The Northbound US-101 off-ramp to N. San Pedro Road is scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning.

The Southbound US-101 on-ramp to Lucky Drive is scheduled to be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next mornings. The Southbound US-101 off-ramp to Lucky Drive is scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next mornings.

The Southbound US-101 on-ramp from Westbound and Eastbound Sir Francis Drake Boulevard is scheduled to be closed from 8 p.m. until 9 a.m. the next mornings.

The Southbound US-101 on-ramp from Francisco Boulevard is scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. the next mornings.

Detour from Southbound Redwood Way

  • Head south on Redwood Highway toward Industrial Way
  • Continue on to Tamalpais Drive
  • Turn right to merge on to Northbound US-101

Detour from Northbound Redwood Way

  • Head north on to Redwood Highway and turn right on to Rich Street
  • Head south on Redwood Highway toward Industrial Way
  • Continue on to Tamalpais Drive
  • Turn right to merge on to Northbound US-101

Detour for Lucky Drive on Southbound US-101

  • Continue on Tamal Vista Boulevard and turn left on to Fifer Avenue
  • Turn left on to Lucky Drive
  • Turn right on to Doherty Drive
  • Turn left on to Magnolia Avenue
  • Turn left on to Redwood Avenue
  • Continue on to Tamalpais Drive
  • Use the right lane to merge on to Northbound US-101
  • Head Southeast on Fifer Avenue

Detour for Southbound US-101 on-ramp from Sir Francis Drake

  • Continue on to Sir Francis Drake Boulevard
  • Turn left on to Northbound US-101
  • Take the off-ramp to Richmond Bridge/Francisco Blvd./Route I-580
  • Turn right on to Bellam Boulevard
  • Turn right on to Andersen Drive
  • Turn right on to Francisco Boulevard West
  • Turn right on to Southbound US-101
  • Head west on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard
  • Turn right on to Wolfe Grade
  • Wolfe Grade becomes D Street
  • Turn right on to Second Street
  • Turn right to merge on to Southbound US-101

    • Continue northbound on Francisco Boulevard West
    • Turn left to stay on Francisco Boulevard West
