Revised: Work rescheduled to Monday, Aug. 3 through Friday, Aug. 7
Marin County — Caltrans scheduled to continue a tree trimming/removal project on Southbound US-101 in San Rafael.

- The Southbound US-101 off-ramp at St. Vincent/Miller Creek in San Rafael is scheduled to be closed from Monday, Aug. 3 to Friday, Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Drivers should take the off-ramp at Lucas Valley/Smith Ranch Road, take a left at the light onto Lucas Valley Road, go down to the next light and take a right at Las Gallinas Avenue and go two blocks back to Miller Creek. The bus stop on theoff-ramp at Miller Creek could be affected during work hours.
This work was originally scheduled for earlier this year but had to be rescheduled.
Caltrans will activate detour signs to alert the public in the area.
Work is dependent on weather and other factors.
The removal of trees is to keep our roads as safe as possible for our travelers, and work will be overseen by a certified arborist working alongside Caltrans.
