Solano County — Caltrans Construction will be continuing the Trash Capture Project that requires nighttime lane closure of multiple locations. Closures will occur nightly starting on Tuesday July 14, 2026, at 08:00 PM to 05:00 AM the following day until set up completes Friday, July 17, 2026.
This project will install trash capture systems that will stop trash from going out into water sources. It will also entail update of guardrails and construction of mainline pull outs for maintenance vehicles and erosion control.

July 17 – Removal of K-Rails
- Westbound connector On-Ramp from Route 780
- Westbound I- 80 mainline near Redwood St.
- Westbound I-80 Off-Ramp to Columbus Prkwy.
