Contra Costa County & Marin County — Caltrans maintenance crews will carry out overnight spalling repairs on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge (I-580), implementing the closure of Lane #2 on the westbound upper deck Saturday, May 30, 2026, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, the following morning. The closure extends across the entire bridge, but westbound Lane #1 and the bike path will remain accessible.
Caltrans appreciate the public’s patience as we work to ensure the integrity of the roadway.
The Richmond–San Rafael Bridge remains safe and open for travel despite ongoing lane closures.
