U.S. 101 Bayshore Freeway (Hospital Curve), Overnight Median Barrier Work Rescheduled Tuesday, May 19 - Friday, May 22

San Francisco County ― Caltrans work previously announced to occur May 12-15, has been rescheduled to May 19-May 22. This upcoming work continues the rehabilitation work on the U.S. 101 Bayshore Freeway (Hospital Curve) from Candlestick Point Recreation Area to 16th Avenue as part of the Fab 4 Rehabilitation Project in San Francisco.

Beginning Tuesday, May 19 through Friday, May 22, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., crews will begin removing sections of the U.S. 101 median barrier between Bacon and Cesar Chavez. This work requires cutting existing concrete barrier segments so they can be removed and replaced with the new barrier. The U.S. 101 far left lanes, northbound and southbound, will be closed during this work. Residents and motorists, particularly those near the Cesar Chavez exit at the U.S. 101/I 280 split, should expect significant noise during the barrier cutting operations.
