

Alameda County – Caltrans has implemented an emergency full closure of the Webster Tube (State Route 260) due to emergency repairs encountered during the overnight closure. All lanes are closed and lanes will reopen as soon as repairs are made.
Closure Schedule:
- Effective Immediately
- The Webster Tube (Oakland to Alameda direction) will remain fully closed until repairs are complete.
- Updated reopening time will be provided as soon as available.
- Updates will be emailed and posted on social media.
Detour & Access Changes:
During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time.Detour: Motorists are advised to use the Park Street Bridge to access the City of AlamedaPosey Tube remains open for motorists traveling from Alameda to Oakland, and for pedestrian and bicyclists who use the traveling between Oakland and Alameda.
Be Work Zone Alert and expect travel delays.

Drivers are encouraged to check out Caltrans Quickmap https://quickmap.dot.ca.gov/ for live highway conditions.
