San Francisco County ― Caltrans is planning upcoming weekend lane reductions along U.S. 101 Bayshore Freeway (Hospital Curve), with work occurring from Candlestick Point Recreation Area to Silver Avenue in the city of San Francisco. Crews will close the two fast lanes in the northbound direction and two fast lanes in the southbound directions, March 13-16, March 20-23, & April 3-6, as part of the Fab 4 Hospital Curve Rehabilitation effort. Throughout these lane reductions, two lanes will remain open in the northbound direction, and two lanes will remain open in the southbound direction. The lane reductions are necessary to proceed with the construction of a new freeway median which is part of the U.S. 101 Bayshore Freeway (Hospital Curve).

Motorists should anticipate delays, consider alternate routes, and allow extra travel time.
