Day Lane Closures for Westbound, Eastbound SR-37 Capital Preventive Maintenance Project in Marin County

Marin County — Caltrans will continue its Capital Preventive Maintenance project in February on Westbound State Route 37 (SR-37) in between US-101 and the Petaluma River Bridge in Novato for paving operations.

Eastbound work will occur between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Westbound work will occur between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.

The Atherton Avenue on- and off-ramps on Eastbound and Westbound SR-37 could be closed intermittently during those days. The Westbound SR-37 ramp to Northbound US-101, the Hanna Ranch Road on-ramp to Westbound SR-37, and the westbound SR-37 off-ramp to Hanna Ranch Road could be affected as well.

Rain is forecasted for the week of Monday, Feb. 16, but if weather patterns change, work will continue.

This capital maintenance pavement rehabilitation project involves paving and median barrier work in Novato. The project will grind and re-pave the roadway between the Ignacio overhead to the Petaluma River Bridge – a stretch of about three miles.
