Alameda County – Due to maintenance work and to ensure the safety of crews and the public, Caltrans will implement the following closures in the Posey Tube (Alameda–Oakland) starting tonight. This closure is needed to complete remaining work within the available construction window.
Nighttime Posey Tube Closures
Scheduled: Wednesday, February 11th to Friday, February 13th
- Single Lane Closure 7PM to 11PM
- Full Webster tunnel closure from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Single Lane closure from 5AM to 12PM ( Next Day)
Looking Ahead:
Closures planned for next week are pending and will be confirmed based on how work progresses this week.
During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Work includes repairing damaged concrete and improving the roadway surface on the Posey Tube bridge deck and approaches.
Be Work Zone Alert and expect travel delays.
