Contra Costa & Solano Counties — Caltrans continues to perform essential T1 Steel Weld Inspection Project weld inspections and repairs on the Carquinez Bridge (I-80). This work is critical to maintaining the ongoing structural integrity of the bridge. Benicia-Martinez Bridge (I-680) inspections are complete.
Carquinez Bridge closures are now expected to continue through March 2026, weather permitting.

Carquinez Bridge Eastbound I-80 Lane/Ramp Closures
- Monday–Thursday: 3AM – 1PM
- Friday [Thursday Night to Friday Morning]-11pm -7AM
- Saturday: -[Friday Night to Saturday Morning] 11PM – 8AM
Full Closure: EB I-80 Onramp from Pomona St/San Pablo Ave
Lane Closures: EB I-80 Lanes 3 and 4 from Refinery Rd to Carquinez Toll Plaza
