Bore #2, Monday December 15th, Bore #1, Tuesday December 16th and Bore #3, Wednesday December 17th 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM
Alameda and Contra Costa Counties – Caltrans has scheduled overnight closures of Bores 1and 2 of the Caldecott Tunnel on State Route 24 (SR-24) for surveyor work. All work is weather dependent.
Closure Schedule of SR-24:
Bore #2 Closure EB SR-24
- Monday, December 15, 2025 –closed from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM
Bore #1 Closure EB SR-24
- Tuesday, December 16, 2025 –closed from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM
Bore #3 Closure WB SR-24
- Wednesday, December 17, 2025 closed from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM
During the work, all other bores in each direction will remain open.
Traffic Control Measures:
Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
