Marin County — Caltrans will continue its Capital Preventive Maintenance project in December on Westbound and Eastbound State Route 37 (SR-37) in between Atherton Avenue and the Petaluma River Bridge in Novato for pavement striping and erosion control work.

There will be daytime closures for pavement striping and erosion control work on Westbound and Eastbound SR-37 from Monday, Dec. 8 through Friday, Dec. 12. Eastbound work will occur between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Westbound work will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

There will be intermittent ramp closures (depending on where the work occurs) for the US-101 interchange near SR-37, the Hanna Ranch Road exit and the Atherton Avenue exit along SR-37.

All construction Is weather dependent.

This capital maintenance pavement rehabilitation project involves paving and median barrier work in Novato. The project will grind and re-pave the roadway between the Ignacio overhead to the Petaluma River Bridge – a stretch of about three miles.
