Overnight Closures Scheduled for Webster Tube (State Route 260) Monday, December 1 for Winter Maintenance Work

Alameda County – Due to maintenance work and to ensure the safety of crews and the public, Caltrans will implement the following closures in the Webster Tunnel (Oakland–Alameda) starting tonight:

Full Webster tunnel closure from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM

During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Crews will be working to remove excess water and clear out built-up debris from the lower level of the tunnel system to help keep the structure safe and dry. Posey Tube will remain Open.

Be Work Zone Alert and expect travel delays.
