Marin County — Caltrans will continue its Capital Preventive Maintenance project in October on Westbound and Eastbound State Route 37 (SR-37) in between Atherton Avenue and the Petaluma River Bridge in Novato for paving work.
There is scheduled paving work on SR-37 from Monday, Oct. 27 to Friday, Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. until about 1 p.m. the next days.
There will be intermittent ramp closures (depending on where the paving occurs) for the US-101 interchange near SR-37, the Hanna Ranch Road exit and the Atherton Avenue exit along SR-37.
All construction Is weather dependent.
This capital maintenance pavement rehabilitation project involves paving and median barrier work in Novato. The project will grind and re-pave the roadway between the Ignacio overhead to the Petaluma River Bridge – a stretch of about three miles.
