Alameda County — Caltrans has implemented full night closures and one-way traffic control on State Route 84 (Niles Canyon) in Unincorporated Sunol at post mile 15.5, near Niles Canyon Railway Brightside Yard. Work will include installing and connecting specially designed guardrails to the newly constructed bridge on eastbound State Route 84. This work is scheduled to be completed by 11/22/2025. One-Way Traffic:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5 AM-8 PM
Saturday 5 AM through Monday 8 PM (One-Way traffic during these hours).
Nightly Full Freeway Closures:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8 PM to 5 AM (Detour required).
