Nighttime Lane/Ramp Closures on State Route 113 in and near Dixon from Parkway Boulevard to SR-113/Interstate-80 (I-80) Interchange

Solano County — Caltrans is scheduled to continue its paving and Slurry Seal overlay project on State Route 113 (SR-113), also known as 1st Street, which goes through the City of Dixon. The project started on the first week of September, it is scheduled to finish within 30 working days.

Work from East “H” Street to Country Fair Drive will begin on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning. No parking signs will be placed to let residents know about the work.

This project will require multiple lane, ramp and portions of the highway closures during construction. The number of lanes closed will depend on the closure location within the project limits. The construction activities may be noisy and create dust at times as work could involve paving equipment, back-up truck alarms and vibrations.

Below are dates and locations that will be impacted during construction: (Please note that the dates are subject to change due to weather and other factors.)

  • Sunday, Sept. 21 from I-80 to Adams Street (Anything that was not finished on Sept. 17 and Sept. 18) and work from Cherry Street to Parkway Boulevard
  • Monday, Sept. 22 Rail Road Section | from Adams Street to Cherry Street
  • Tuesday, Sept. 23 from Cherry Street to Parkway Boulevard
  • Wednesday, Sept. 24 from Cherry Street to Parkway Boulevard

The following on- and off-ramps will be affected by the closure and will have intermittent detours as follows:

Detour for Northbound Route 113 Connector to Westbound I-80
Drivers on Eastbound I-80 will take the SR-113 off-ramp to Pedrick Road;
Then on Pedrick Road take a left to enter the Westbound I-80 on-ramp.
Drivers will continue down Westbound I-80 and take the connector to Currey Road.

Drivers on Northbound Route 113 wanting to go to Northbound Currey Road. Will takethe Eastbound I-80 on ramp and take the Pedrick Road off-ramp. A left turn will betaken on Pedrick Road to enter the Westbound I-80 on-ramp. Drivers will continue downWestbound I-80 and take the connector to Currey Road.

Detour for Southbound Route 113 on-ramp closure on Westbound I-80,br />Drivers will continue to travel on Westbound I-80 and take the Pitt School Road Exit and make a left onto Pitt School Road. Then enter Eastbound I-80 on-ramp and then take the Southbound Route 113 off-ramp.

Detour for Southbound Route 113 on-ramp closure on Currey Road
Driver will need to take the Westbound I-80 on-ramp and exit on Pitt school road then take a left on Pitt School Road and enter the Eastbound I-80 on ramp and then take the Southbound Route 113 Exit.
