San Mateo County ― Caltrans is continuing culvert inspection work on eastbound SR-92 at the “horseshoe curve” area south of SR-35 to prevent groundwater from seeping to the road surface. Crews are undertaking vegetation management in the area, and will perform pavement, striping, and guardrail improvement work.

To enable the work, the eastbound right-hand lane will be closed during the week - and open on weekends - at Pilarcitos Creek Road (Santa’s Tree Farm) through the horseshoe curve.

Lane Closure Schedule:

  • Monday, August 25, at 9 a.m. to Thursday, August 28, at 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 3, at 9 a.m. to Friday, September 5, at 5 p.m.
  • For the remainder of September, the lane will be closed Mondays at 9 a.m. through Fridays at 5 p.m.
