Lane closure on SR-92 east of Half Moon Bay August 11-15

Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution in the area.

San Mateo County ― Caltrans will be installing a culvert on eastbound SR-92 at the “horseshoe curve” area south of SR-35 where groundwater has been seeping to the road surface. Crews will undertake vegetation management in the area, and they will also perform pavement, striping, and guardrail improvement work.

The work will begin the week of August 11 and be completed by late September. In the near term, the eastbound right-hand lane will be closed at Pilarcitos Creek Road (Santa’s Tree Farm) through the horseshoe curve from Monday, August 11 at 9 a.m. through Friday, August 15 at 9 p.m.

Drivers should expect short delays.
