Crews complete culvert repair ahead of Monday morning commute

San Mateo County ― All lanes are now open on northbound Interstate 280 just south of State Route 92, as crews have completed culvert repairs. On Saturday afternoon, July 26, crews were able to reopen the highway just after 4:30 PM. Caltrans had originally estimated the work would be completed by 5:00 AM on Monday, July 28, but crews finished the critical repairs in record time—well before the Monday morning commute.

Caltrans would like to thank the traveling public and San Mateo County residents for their patience as we completed this important work.
