Santa Clara County – Caltrans crews continue to perform daytime closures of the Winchester on-ramp to northbound (NB) Interstate 280 (I-280) in the city of San Jose, Santa Clara County. The on-ramp closures are needed so that Caltrans Maintenance crews can safely maneuver heavy equipment and cranes for the Winchester Pump Station upgrades. The equipment will be used for the removal the old steel discharge piping and pump motors in the Winchester Pump Station.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute.
All work is weather dependent.
