Tree Removal Work for Wildfire Safety on SR-84 Starts this Week

Tuesday, July 15 - Wednesday, July 23, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

San Mateo County ― Specialist tree crews will be removing eucalyptus trees on State Route 84 between Sequoia Drive and Williams Ranch Road in San Mateo County starting today and continuing through Wednesday, July 23, or until the work is complete. The project is funded through a Fire Safe grant through the County of San Mateo.

Crews will begin work at 8 a.m. and are scheduled to finish by 4 p.m. each day.

One lane will be closed, and flaggers will be directing traffic with one-way traffic control during the work. Motorists should expect short delays throughout the project.
