July 22 on SR-84 and July 23 on SR-35, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
San Mateo County ― Caltrans will be removing two boulders this month that have become safety hazards on State Routes 84 and 35 near Sky Londa.
- July 22: State Route 84, approximately 1 mile south of SR-35.
- July 23: State Route 35, near Castanea Ridge Road.
Crews will begin work at 9 a.m. and are scheduled to finish by 4 p.m. on both days.
There will be a 15–20-minute traffic hold by CHP while crews drill and blast each boulder, and motorists should expect short delays throughout both days.
All work is weather dependent. Please drive with caution. Thank you for your patience as we work to maintain our state’s highways, bridges, and tunnels.
