Contra Costa County – Caltrans District 4 will begin overnight paving operations on Interstate 80 (I-80) between Buchanan Street in Albany and Cutting Boulevard in Richmond. Work will take place in both directions on a scheduled basis over multiple weeks. Work includes Full paving of all lanes, including shoulders. The highway will remain open during operations with lane closures only during overnight hours.

- Working Days: Monday through Friday
- Working Hours: 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (nightly)
Eastbound I-80 Lane closures:
- Dates: Monday, May 12 through Wednesday, May 21, 2025
- Location: Buchanan Street to Cutting Boulevard
Westbound I-80 Lane closures:
- Dates: Thursday, May 22 through Monday, June 2, 2025
- Location: Cutting Boulevard to Buchanan Street
