Night Work for Ramp, Lane Closures on Northbound US-101 as Marin-Sonoma Narrows B-7 Project Continues in Marin County

Marin County — The Marin-Sonoma Narrows B-7 construction project continues in April with k-rail replacement and a traffic shift, which requires ramp and lane closures on Northbound US-101 in Novato.

The San Antonio Road off-ramp is scheduled to be closed on the morning of Monday, April 21 between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. so crews can remove K-rail on Northbound US-101.

The San Antonio on- and off-ramps on Northbound US-101 are scheduled to be closed on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. each morning for a traffic shift along the ramps. One lane along US-101 is scheduled to be closed during the same days and hours.

All work depends on weather. Daytime access will be available for drivers.

San Antonio on-ramp closure

  • Drivers should take Southbound US-101 to Atherton Avenue and take the Atherton Avenue on-ramp to get back on Northbound US-101.

San Antonio off-ramp closure

  • Drivers should exit at Petaluma Boulevard South/Kastania Road, enter US-101 southbound, and exit at San Antonio Road.

This is the last remaining High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane construction project as part of the 16-mile US-101 Marin-Sonoma Narrows (MSN) program. This project will complete and allow continuous HOV lanes on US-101 from Sausalito in Marin County to Windsor in Sonoma County. HOV lanes are scheduled to be open to use in the summer of 2025.
