Weekday Shoulder Closures from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM through Friday, April 11
Alameda County – Caltrans has begun vegetation maintenance along northbound State Route 13 (SR-13) between Interstate 580 (I-580) and State Route 24 (SR-24) in the Oakland hills. This service contract work is scheduled to continue through Friday, April 11, 2025.
Crews are clearing overgrown brush, weeds, and dead or fallen trees, including vegetation growing under larger trees. This work helps reduce fire risk, improve visibility, and keep the area safe and well-maintained.
Drivers should expect to see workers on the road between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with shoulder closures in effect Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Please stay alert and drive with caution through the area.
