Santa Clara County - Due to inclement weather, Caltrans has extended the full closure of State Route 9 (SR-9) Big Basin Way from Sanborn Road to Redwood Gulch Road, in the city of Saratoga, Santa Clara County.
Changeable message boards are displaying detour routes, and a light tower will be in place tonight.
This closure is necessary for crews to safely remove mud and debris from the roadway on SR-9. Crews will remain on-site to monitor roadway and slide conditions.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, expect delays and allow extra time when traveling. CMS Signs and detours will be in place.

Thursday, February 5, until Saturday, February 8, 2025
Emergency vehicles and residents will have authorized access.
