Marin County — Caltrans is scheduled to continue an emergency culvert replacement, sinkhole, and pavement repair project on State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway) in the Muir Beach area in January. The project is needed because of storm-related issues that occurred early in the year.
One-way traffic control will be utilized on SR-1 from Monday, Jan. 6 through Friday, Jan. 10 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
Culvert replacement, sinkhole and pavement repair has been completed within SR-1. Culvert replacement outside of State Right of Way and installation of rock slope protection will be performed this time.
Flaggers will be present to assist drivers.
