Caltrans crews perform daily full closures on State Route 9 (SR-9) Big Basin Way from Sanborn Road, to Redwood Gulch Road, to remove fallen trees, debris, clean drainage system and regrade slope on SR-9.Santa Clara County - Caltrans crews continue to perform daily full closures on State Route 9 (SR-9) Big Basin Way from Sanborn Road, to Redwood Gulch Road, in the city of Saratoga. To ensure the safety of the traveling public and workers, the full closure will be in place Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM. One-way traffic control will be in place on Saturdays from 7 AM to 5 PM.

The closure is needed to allow crews to safely remove fallen trees, debris, clean drainage system and regrade slope on SR-9. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are advised to use detour routes expect delays and allow extra time when traveling.

CMS Signs and detours will be in place.

Full Closure SR-9 Between Sanborn Road and Redwood Gulch Road:
Monday December 9, through Friday, December 13
7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

One-Way Traffic Control SR-9 Between Sanborn Rd. and Redwood Gulch Road:
Saturday, December 14
7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (one lane open to traffic)
Could have potential to hold traffic up to 5 minutes if needed on Mainline SR9 and/or private driveways if conditions require it.
Sunday, December 15th. No work All lanes open to traffic.
