San Mateo County ― Caltrans has scheduled a 55-hour weekend ramp closure on northbound U.S. 101 at University Avenue in East Palo Alto starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, December 13 through 6 a.m. Monday, December 16. The northbound University Avenue off-ramp will be closed to the traveling public to allow construction crews to perform ramp realignment work and ADA improvements over the weekend.

Motorists are encouraged to exit the East Palo Alto off-ramp to Donohoe Street to access University Avenue by turning left at Donohoe Street onto southbound University Avenue. Motorists are encouraged to exit the East Palo Alto off-ramp to Donohoe Street to access University Avenue by turning left at Donohoe Street onto southbound University Avenue.

Over the same weekend, Caltrans will also be performing barrier and road rehabilitation work on the mainline of U.S. 101 starting at the county line to Whipple Avenue near Redwood City.  To ensure the safety of motorists and crews, the southbound University Avenue off-ramp will be closed overnight throughout the weekend.
