Map of where State Route 220 on Ryer  Island/Delta Region will be temporarily be closed due to storm damage.Solano County — Caltrans has closed a section of State Route 220 (SR-220) on Ryer Island in the Delta Region of rural Solano County due to storm-related sinkhole repair. The closure is located on SR-220 between State Route 84 (SR-84) and Steamboat Slough.

Caltrans expects this work to be completed in approximately one month and will re-open SR-220 after the pavement is repaired. Repairs involve filling the sinkhole and sealing off the pavement. Caltrans will provide the public an update once a more definite date for reopening SR-220 is determined.

Both Eastbound and Westbound SR-220 lanes will be closed until work is completed.

SR-220 is a bypass road, meaning drivers can use SR-84 or East Ryer Road to travel around the island and reach their destinations.
