Santa Clara County - Caltrans will perform daily full closures on State Route 9 (SR-9) Big Basin Way from Sanborn Road, to Redwood Gulch Road, in the city of Saratoga. The closure is needed to allow crews to safely remove fallen trees, debris, clean drainage system and regrade slope on SR-9.

To ensure the safety of the traveling public and workers, the full closure will be in place Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, and one-way traffic control will be in place on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 5 PM, on SR-9 Big Basin Way from Sanborn Road, to Redwood Gulch Rd.

Construction activities are tentatively scheduled to be completed by the week of November 5, 2024. Motorists are advised to use detour routes expect delays and allow extra time when traveling. CMS Signs and detours will be in place.

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

One-Way Traffic Control SR-9 Between Sanborn Rd. and Redwood Gulch Rd.
Saturday through Sunday
7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

*Emergency vehicles and residents will have authorized access.

Please note access to Saratoga Springs Events & Wedding, Walden West, and Sanborn Road are still accessible.
