Marin County — Caltrans is scheduled to start exploratory drilling on the Novato Creek Bridge Replacement project on State Route 37 (SR-37) in October. Drilling is required to determine the replacement bridge’s foundation requirements.
One of two lanes will be closed on Eastbound SR-37 from Tuesday, Oct. 8 through Thursday, Oct. 10 from 10 p.m. until 10 a.m. each night. At least one lane will be open for traffic.
A full closure of Eastbound SR-37 from Monday, Oct. 14 to Thursday, Oct. 17 is scheduled from 10 p.m. until 10 a.m. each night.
If additional drilling is needed, tentative work is scheduled from Monday, Oct. 21 through Thursday, Oct. 24. Caltrans will send out a new advisory if that work is needed.
Caltrans will activate Changeable Message Signs (CMS) to notify the public ahead of time.
