State Route-84 “Real McCoy II Ferry” out of service due to mechanical repairs: Motorists are advised to use Delta Companion Ferry State Route 220 “J-Mack Ferry”

Map of ferries run by Caltrans in the Delta.Solano County — The State Route 84 (SR-84) “Real McCoy II Ferry” is currently out of service due to continued mechanical repair of the vessel. The ferry is currently undergoing maintenance repairs. The Ferry is estimated to be back in service by September 27, 2024.

Caltrans regrets any inconvenience for motorists and residents who use the ferry to access Ryer Island and the Sacramento Delta.

The Delta’s companion ferry, SR-220 J-Mack Ferry can also be used for crossings, which are scheduled every 20 minutes; on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour. Please note that per Coast Guard Regulations, The J-Mack will be dry docked on September 29, 2029 for inspections and repairs. Additional information to follow.
