Overnight lane closures on EB/WB State Route 24 near Orinda due to road work set to begin at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 15

(One lane will remain open as crews repave State Route 24)

Contra Costa County ― Various Lane closures are scheduled to take place in the eastbound (EB) and westbound (WB) direction of State Route 24 near the city of Orinda, Contra Costa County starting tonight, Wednesday, May 15. Caltrans will be repaving WB State Route 24 between Acalanes Rd to St Stephens Dr start at 7:00 PM tonight into 4:30 AM, Thurs. May 16. One lane will be open to the traveling public as crews work on repaving the lanes.

Earlier this week, crews repaved EB State Route 24 between Camino Pablo to St Stephen Dr. but is scheduled to complete the road work starting tonight at 7:00 PM into 8:30 AM, Thurs. May 16. One lane will be open to the traveling public, additional lanes will re-open before the Thursday morning commute.

Motorists are advised to expect minor delays and allow extra time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
