SANTA CLARA COUNTY – State Route 9 (SR-9) from Sanborn Rd. to Redwood Gulch Rd. near Saratoga is closed due the highway being blocked by debris due to an unstable hillside.
To ensure the safety of motorists, State Route 9 will remain closed until Caltrans can safely remove the debris off the road.
It’s unknown on when the highway will reopen due to the active slide and upcoming severe weather which could cause more debris to wash off onto the highway.
