Santa Clara County – Caltrans will begin the State Route 82 (SR-82) El Camino Real Pavement Rehabilitation and Improvement project on southbound State Route 82 (SR-82) from Palm Drive to California Avenue in the city of Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The work for this portion of the project will begin Monday, February 12, from 7 AM to 5 PM, and continue until the completion of the project. Construction activities will include removing and replacing concrete at driveways, sidewalks, and ADA ramps to improve the existing SR-82. The work activities will be conducted during the daytime. Residents and the traveling public will have limited and/or restricted access to several driveways while the lane/shoulder closure is in place. Local businesses and residents will experience normal construction noise, which will be monitored.
Daytime Shoulder Lane Closure Schedule:
Southbound SR-82: Monday through Friday: 7AM to 5 PM
Message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute. Local businesses and residents will experience normal construction noise, which will be monitored.
