LOS ALTOS – Tuesday, January 2, 2024, Caltrans closed three lanes on eastbound State Route 82 (SR 82) El Camino Real, between San Antonio Rd and Sherwood Ave in Los Altos, Santa Clara County. The lane closure is needed for Caltrans crews to safely support the City of Los Altos in removing a building that was damaged in a recent fire. Lanes are expected to reopen the week of January 23, 2024. Detours are in place.

Eastbound SR-82 El Camino Real: Closed
Between San Antonio Rd, and Sherwood Ave.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time when traveling. Slow for the Cone Zone.

Motorists traveling on eastbound SR-82 will need to turn left onto San Antonio road, followed by a right turn onto California Street, a right turn on to Showers Drive, and then turn left back onto SR-82.
