Nightly Ramp, Lane Closures on US-101, State Route 37 (SR-37) as Bridge Preservation Project Continues in Marin County

Schedule: Monday, Nov. 20 through the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 22

MARIN COUNTY – Caltrans is scheduled to continue its bridge preservation project in November. Work will be in different locations on Monday, Nov. 20 and Tuesday, Nov. 21 as crews will be replacing old concrete with polyester concrete in various locations throughout the county.

The Westbound State Route 37 (SR-37) to Northbound US-101 connector ramp in Novato will be closed on Monday, Nov. 20 from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the next morning.

Take Southbound US-101
Take the off-ramp to Eastbound Ignacio Boulevard
Go Eastbound on Ignacio Boulevard and then go Southbound on Nave Drive
Take the on-ramp to Northbound US-101

There will be various lanes closed on Northbound US-101 near the Robin Williams Tunnel (Waldo Tunnel) and Sidehill Viaduct in Sausalito on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning.

All work is dependent on weather.

There will be no work on this project during the Thanksgiving weekend. Work on this project is scheduled to return Monday, Nov. 27.

Changeable message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be on-site during the closures.
