Roadway completely open near Tomales Bay in between Marconi and Millerton
MARIN COUNTY — Caltrans announced that two-way traffic is flowing on State Route 1 in between Marconi and Millerton near Tomales Bay in an unincorporated part of the county.
Caltrans had been using one-way traffic control in the area since early in 2023 while crews finished their storm-damage repair project in the area.
The damage occurred because of the heavy winter storms in January of 2023. Workers replaced the drainage culvert and installed a retaining wall to rebuild the shoulder.
