SAN MATEO COUNTY- State Route 84 (SR-84) between Fox Hill Road and Portola Road near the town of Woodside, was closed in March due to weather related landslides. The 250-foot-wide slide impacted the roadway and was not safe for motorists and bicyclists.
Today, Caltrans has opened this section of SR-84 to one-way traffic control.
Crews will continue to work on permanent repairs behind protective barriers. The roadway is scheduled for full opening in October 2023.
