SAN MATEO COUNTY — Caltrans has scheduled a full closure of State Route 82 (El Camino Real) in Burlingame from Hillside Drive to Adeline Drive on Wednesday, April 12 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. due to tree removal. The work is necessary to facilitate safe tree removal and cleanup from recent weather events. The closures are necessary due to the size of trees and equipment needed to safely complete the work.
The removal of trees is based on a recommendation from a certified arborist working with Caltrans.
The public is advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Detours will be in place utilizing local streets. The crew will assist residents with access as needed.
