Join us to provide your input on the replacement tree planting design for the Howard-Ralston Eucalyptus Tree Rows of El Camino Real. This workshop is open to the public and will tie together previously discussed project elements, constraints, and feedback. This workshop provides an exciting opportunity for community members to shape how El Camino Real will look and feel for future generations.

Date: Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Location: Burlingame Community Center, Sequoia Room
850 Burlingame Avenue, Burlingame, CA 94010

Workshop Details:
Caltrans will do a presentation about the status of the project and next steps. After the presentation, attendees will participate in a design activity where they will place new trees along a sample section of El Camino Real while adhering to real project constraints. The activity will illustrate how the project team designs a project like this, and it will give attendees an opportunity to provide input on design decisions for El Camino Real. Informational stations will include other input opportunities, including ideas for the planned time capsule, history plaque walk, and where to place community benches.
